Do you eat pork? Do you eat sauerkraut?

Easiest crockpot meal ever. Dump pack of porkchops in crockpot (I buy the kind with bones...bones = flavor). Dump package or can of sauerkraut in crockpot. Cover. Cook on low 8 hours.

This recipe is easy to double, too...2 packs of chops = 2 cans of kraut! LOL

We eat this with mashed taters and some other veggie. The kraut doesn't stay sour (or as sour) and keeps the chops from drying out.

I have other recipes that I'll have to dig up for you.

I would recommend a blog by Stephanie O'Dea called, A Year of Slow Cooking - http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/

She devoted an entire year to slow cooking, blogged her recipes and just recently published her book, Make it Fast, Cook it Slow. I highly recommend her blog.

Good Luck!

"Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow Cooker" has a ton of great recipes that are super-healthy and delicious - I use it all of the time, and I'm not a vegetarian.

I also make "salsa chicken" a lot - put around 4 chicken breasts in the crock, dump a jar of your favorite salsa + 1 tablespoon of flour, plus the juice of one lime, and let it cook all day. You can top it with cheese toward the end.

Once a week I throw a whole organic chicken into the crock and let it cook all day and it's done when I get home - meat falls off the bones.

There's a website called A Year of Crockpot that you should check out!
