Birchbox - Love or Hate?!?!

After reading many blogger rave about it, I finally decide to subscribe to Birchbox.  And unfortunately, after getting the first box I'm really not impressed.  For those of you not familiar with Birchbox, here's the skinny.  It's a monthly beauty sample club where you get a little box full of beauty samples.  Many bloggers swear they have found their must have beauty items because of it.  It's only $10 and the website is very user friendly tracking everything that you get in your boxes.

I really wasn't impressed with the November box.  Here's a breakdown of what I got, none of which particularly excited me.

Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer - Two came in the box but they were the same shade.
Three Masqueology samples - Masque Cleanse, 7D Moisture Cream and Revitalizing Eye Mask
MCMC Fragrance Phoenix Eau de Parfum
One Love Organics Aromatic Body Serum

I'm not going to give up on it just yet.  Let's see what I get in the next few boxes.  I will be sure to report back.  I do have my eye on a special edition "home" box.  It's $58 so I'm not sure its worth the cost.  Have you bought it?

You tell me...are you a fan of Birchbox?  What products do you know love because you received it in your latest box?

Christmas Cards Made Easier

Sorry for the lack of posts lately...our house has been plagued with sickness.  From RSV to stomach bugs to sinus infections...we've had it all.  Finally we were on the mend and poor Ella is getting sick AGAIN.  Thankfully I'm finally better because my to do list is growing and growing.  With the holiday season, life gets so busy and Christmas cards can be such a tedious task to do.  Thanks to my lovely step-sister-in-law for telling me about cardstore.com because now my Christmas cards are a breeze to do. Pretty much they do all the work.  You create the card and then cardstore.com will do the rest - address and ship ALL your cards!!!  I was worried that it was going to be super expensive but thanks to a 70% off coupon code I was able to check out with everything for under $100.  Yes that was over 150 cards addressed and shipped for that price!  And I got 7.5% back from Ebates!!!  Definitely check them out.  They have a great selection of cards.  For those of you that won't get a Christmas card from us...here's a look.
