Quarantine Reorganizing - Small Touches in Kitchen

During this quarantine, I decided I was going to make the most of it and use this time at home to reorganize and declutter my house...one room at a time. This was a New Years resolution that I started and now I have plenty of time to finish it. First up was the kitchen (since the pantry has stayed organized). Each day I went through one or two cabinets and drawers and reorganized and purged things. And oh it feels so good! I got rid of a lot and tackled a few small organizing projects.

Under the kitchen sink has always been a hot mess and so hard to find things till now. I got a two-tiered organizer that pulls out so everything has its place and the other side the bottles are neatly organized in a bin.

I also decided to simply the kitchen sink area and loving that there's barely anything on it.

The last organization project in the kitchen was organizing the drawers. I picked up a few drawer organizing to make it easier to find things. I forgot I had some of this stuff.

The next project I'm going to tackle is the guest room closet/drawers. It is where I keep all of our extra sheets, towels and other random things.

Dressing Room Diaries: J.Crew Spring/Summer Finds

This is technically a cover up but I LOVE it as a dress. The pastel stripes are perfect for summer. It's a thin lightweight material but not to see through. It's low cut (since it's a cover up) so you can show the cleavage or put a cami underneath. Fit is true to size. Love this one! 

This shirt just screams spring. Love the pink and the eyelet detail is on point. The material is thin and can look sheer in some places so I'd consider wearing a cami underneath. Fit is true to size. Works with pants or shorts. Several colors to pick from.

I couldn't do a dressing room diary and not have at least one black article of clothing. LOVE this popover shirt. It's a classic to have in your closet. You can dress it up for work or a night out. Goes with SO many things. Fit is true to size and comes in a few colors - like a fun pink and coral for spring/summer. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I really, really wanted to like this look but I think I'm just too short for it. If I was a little taller, I think it would look much better. It is SUPER comfortable...like wearing pajamas. You can dress it up or down. It's two pieces so mix and match. Fit is true to size.

This sweatshirt is a great way to "dress up" our stay home looks these days. Love the pink and blue combination. And what's great is it works with leggings, joggers or dress it up with jeans. Fit is true to size...if you want a looser fit then I'd recommend sizing up.

Looking to change up your leggings/athleisure wear this spring/summer then try these gauze pants. Super comfortable and light weight. Fit is true to size and works in the length even if you are a shorty like me. The white isn't too see through and it also comes in navy. Definitely recommend.

Here's another gauzy option but in dress form. It's super flowy and SO comfortable. Great on its own or as a beach cover up. Also comes in white. Fit is true to size and it's on sale right now.

Target Tuesday - Quarantine Try On Session

Another Target Tuesday review, but let's be honest, I've got nothing but time on my hands to do at home try ons for you. Lots of cute spring/summer finds for when we leave our houses again.

I LOVE a good jumpsuit and this one is amazing.  Great for SO many occasions depending on how you style it.  Fit is true to size.  Comes in two other colors.  Highly recommend!

This is the perfect transition dress from winter to spring.  Whether you are running around doing errands or heading into the office (one day we will all be heading back).  Dress it up or down.  It's SO comfortable.  Fit is true to size.  Remember, I'm 5'1" so you get a sense for length.  I'm purposely not wearing shoes so it's true to length on me.  It also comes in red.

LOVE this dress. It's so flattering and perfect for work or play.  I love the drop waist.  Style on it so own or pair with a blazer or denim jacket.  It's really comfortable too.  Comes in a few colors.  Fit is true to size.

I'm a big fan of these high waisted shorts from Target's A New Day brand. A nice lightweight fabric that you can dress up or down, pair with flip flops or wedges. Fit is true to size. Comes in a few colors. And they are under $20! I paired it with my new favorite tank from Target. Love the sleeve cut of this one. Comes in a bunch of colors. I found it ran small so size up.

I LOVE white dresses in the summer time. It's a clean palette to accessorize with pops of color in shoes, jewelry and accessories. This babydoll style one from Target's Wild Fable line is SO cute. It was a little snug in the busy so keep that in mind as you might want to size down.

Dressing Room Diaries - April Amazon Try On

How fun is this skirt?  Love how flowy and "twirly" as my minis said.  Comes in a bunch of different patterns.  Length worked on my 5'1" frame when I had heels on.  You can dress it up or down.  Wear to work or a night out.  I paired it with a crisp Target button down but it would also work with a tank or simple tee.  Fit is true to size. 

I LOVE a good romper and this one from Amazon is SO cute. Very flattering and it comes in a bunch of colors. I went with this pretty aqua because I already have a black one that is similar to this. Fit is true to size. 

This is such a fun dress for summer.  Love the color (bright blue and black are available if this isn't your cup of tea) and the flowiness.  Also has a cute high low hem...it is subtle and the perfect detail.  Dress it up for a wedding or throw on some cute slides for a more casual summer night look.  Fit is true to size.

I'm a BIG fan of the Daily Ritual brand and this sweatshirt is awesome.  SO soft and comfortable.  Perfect for your weekend lounging.  It comes in a bunch of other colors.  Fit is true to size.

T-shirt dresses are my favorite way to transition from cooler to warmer temperatures.  I've been wanting to try this one from Amazon's Essentials brand because it's been getting rave reviews.  And the reviews were right.  It's SUPER soft, very comfortable, flattering and versatile.  And you can't beat the price point (most options under $25, some are under $10!).  Lots of of different stripe options to pick from.  They are great on their own or pair them with a blazer or jacket.  Fit is true to size.  I'm wear and XS.

Now let's talk about my Minis.  I had originally bought these dresses for Easter and Spring Break but who knows how we will be celebrating now.  I absolutely LOVE the Hope and Henry brand on Amazon.  Such cute, preppy items for the whole family.  These seersucker dresses are incredible quality and look amazing...think Janie and Jack or vineyard vines but not the high price tag.
