Five Friday Favorites #9

#1 - Atheleta Long Sleeve Top
I have found a new love for Athleta leisurewear.  I can't believe it's taken me this long to try their stuff.  I'm LOVING this SPF Sunlover long sleeve top.  The color is fun and bright but the best part is this top goes with leggings, shorts, joggers...really anything.  I can wear it to actually work out or I can just lounge around in it.  Highly recommend.  True to size.  They have it in a short leave version I might have to pick up.

Continuing my love for Athleta now, here's a sweater I'm obsessed with...it goes with any outfit.  You can dress it up or dress it down.  Very comfortable material.  Will definitely be a go to this fall/winter.  True to size, wearing an XS.

#3 - Jewelry Travel Bag
Whenever I travel, I never leave home without my jewelry travel bag from Stella and Dot.  There are so many compartments and details that help keep my jewelry organized.  I highly recommend this...even for an overnight trip.  It's perfect!!!

#4 - Poncho
I LOVE a good poncho and this Caslon one doesn't disappoint.  Soft sweater with a perfect fit (I'm wearing a petite).  Comes in a variety of colors and is a great price point.  I can't wait to bust this guy out all fall/winter long.  Dress it up with fun earrings or down with a pair of Uggs.  Sure to be a staple in my wardrobe.

Stella and Dot came out with a new collaboration with Rebecca Minkoff and I'm really liking these pave earrings.  Perfect, simple earring when you aren't feeling very bold.  I can't wait to try these out.  They come with a cuff as well...not sure that I will rock it but we'll see.

Five Friday Favorites #8 - Stella & Dot edition

This week's Five Friday Favorite is all about my love for Stella and Dot.  It was hard to narrow it down to just five so hear are the five I've been wearing the most since my jewelry came in.

#1 - Gold Hammer Hoop Earrings (large)
Love these hoops!  Truthfully I probably wouldn't have picked them out myself (they were a gift from a friend and fellow Stella stylist) but I'm so glad I have them in my jewelry drawer because I wear them all the time.  They are a different take on a classic hoop...more oval shape and the opening is at the bottom.  I have the large ones but they also have smaller ones.  Come in gold, rose gold and silver.  They truly go with anything!

#2 - Engraveable Bangle
This was my last Stella and Dot purchase before I became a stylist.  I'm obsessed with this engraveable bangle - 1) it goes with everything and anything and 2) it means something to me because I had my wedding anniversary and both daughters birthdays engraved on it and separated by hearts.  What I love about the engraveable collection is you can do just about anything to it to personalize it to you liking.

#3 - Willow Cut Out Top
Part of the reason I joined Stella (other than they have such fabulous jewelry and I was already a customer) is that they expanded the brand to include tops.  This is the first top I got and I love it.  It's a soft cotton with just a slight cut out at the top.  What I love is you can wear it with just about anything - jeans, nice pants, shorts...you can dress it up or dress it down.  I can't wait to try some of the other shirts!

#4 - Yves Wrap Bracelet
The Yves wrap bracelet was a last minute add to my order per my friend and fellow stylist.  This is a big seller and now I know why.  It's the perfect bracelet to give your outfit a little something...goes great on its own or dress it up by stacking it with other pieces.  It's adjustable with three different sizes.  Love, love this!

I absolutely love, love, love this necklace.  It's the perfect delicate necklace and you can engrave it with almost anything you want.  I decided to go with my wedding anniversary in Roman numerals so no one really knows what it is except for me.  A lot of people get coordinates done for a special for any occasions.

I left one of my all time favorites because I posted about it last week which you can read about here.  And don't forget, I'm still running a giveaway for a $50 Stella & Dot gift card.  Anyone that makes a purchase in my Stella launch trunk show is automatically entered.  Start shoping here - https://www.stelladot.com/ts/km0ft

Five Friday Favorites #7

I am obsessed with these Steve Madden sandals.  The taupe suede color is the perfect transition color.  They have a chic chunkier heel for more stablity and comfort.  These shoes work for the office, a night out or as I wore the other day...back to school night at your child's elementary school.    Love, love, love and highly recommend.

#2 - Stella and Dot Rebel Necklace

This necklace is one of my all time favorite Stella and Dot purchases.  I've had it for YEARS and it goes with almost anything.  Comes in gold, silver and rose gold.  Perfect staple jewelry piece.  Highly recommend!  Don't forget I'm giving one away on the Facebook page

#3 and #4 - Sleeveless LOFT Sweater and Vince Booties

Love how versatile this LOFT sweater is.  I can wear it now as the weather transitions to cooler temperatures and then when it really starts to get cold I can throw a long sleeve shirt under it and keep wearing it.  Looks great with jeans or leggings.  I recommend sizing down.  I'm wearing an XS but returning for a petite XS.   And these Vince booties were an Anniversary Sale purchase that FINALLY came in!  I love them..they are cut nice and low, have a perfect heel and I love the distressed suede too!

#5 - La Croix Sparling Water

I am slightly addicted to La Croix sparkling water.  I drink 3-4 cans a day.  It's so refreshing and a great way for me to get my water in take.  Thankfully Costco sells it by the case!  My favorite flavor is Lemon.  What's your favorite La Croix flavor?

Trunk Club Box Reveal #2

Another great box from Trunk Club.  I liked most of the things that came.  Let's start with the tops and dresses that I liked.

First is this fabulous Madewell sweater.  I love the sleeves on this one...they don't have too much of a bell but still gives it a little something.  It's not to scratchy and I like that its not too long.  I don't have anything this color in my closet and I think I can definitely dress it up with a fun necklace.  The price isn't bad either at $79.50.  Definitely a contender to keep.

Next is this popular Gibson stripe tie sleeve sweatshirt.  Love the stripe, love the cuff and the fit is great!  I really, really like it but I technically don't need it.  I'm thinking about all the ways I can style it though...for work with my favorite Sloan pants and cute flats or a casual weekend outing with a cute vest for a pop of color.  It's a contender for sure.

I absolutely LOVE this shift dress from Eliza J.  It's a super pretty hunter green color...perfect for the holidays.  I love the sleeve detail and the back cut out.  I really don't NEED another dress but this one is sooo cute and I don't have anything like it in my closet.  Should I keep it?

I was pretty close to being 100% with all the tops/dresses in this box except for this one.

I can't find a link for this Caslon ruffle sleeve dress but just believe me when I say it doesn't work.  The material is pretty scratchy...I hated the color and the fit.  Overall this didn't work.

On the shoe front she sent me two options...

I really liked these Kinslee ones from Cole Haan...very unique toe and I don't have suede ones which I liked.  Unfortunately they were too small and the heel was a bit to short for me.  I'm 5'1" and I really like a tall heel when I wear them.  Such a bummer they didn't work out!

Second pair were these Cole Haan nude flats.  I'm in the market for a new nude/camel colored flat but this just didn't work for me.  They are comfortable but I wasn't a fan of this style or color.

From a jewelry standpoint, I asked for some fun earrings to dress up my outfits and these are what she sent me.  Left to right - Nadri, BaubleBar tassel, Treasure & Bond.  They are all very nice earrings but I was looking for something with more color.

Ok so I need your help...should I keep the Madewell sweater, Gibson sweatshirt or Eliza J dress???

Five Friday Favorites #6

#1 - BP Sweater
I am obsessed with this BP sweater.  I love all things black in the fall and winter and this sweater will definitely be a new staple.  Works great for work, around the house or a casual night out.  Can be worn with any type of pants.  And the best news is its $40.  I HIGHLY recommend.

#2 - Kerastase Hair Mask
During the work week I abuse my hair with blow drying and flat ironing.  Because of that, I really try to keep my hair as healthy as possible with the products I use.  I use this Kerastase hair mask 1-2 times a week instead of conditioner and it does WONDERS for my hair.  Makes it so soft, esspecially on the ends but doesn't make it greasy or weigh it now.  Just a little goes a long way.  I put it on after shampooing and let it sit while I wash or shave my legs and then rinse and good to go.  I know it seems expensive but it lasts a long time because you don't need a lot.  I've had the same one since April and will likely have it till the end of the year.

#3 - Leopard Flats
I am two for two when it comes to fashion finds outside of my comfort zone.  Love, love these leopard flats and how it spices up my basic outfits.  They are perfect for any occasion.  Come in other colors as well.  Highly recommend.

#4 - InstaCart
As a working mom I'm always looking for solutions to help save me time doing household things so I can spend more quality time with my kids.  First there was Amazon Subscribe & Save which I seriously don't know how I ever lived with out it and now there is InstaCart.  Basically the premise is they deliver groceries to your house within two hours.  The reason this is different from other delivery services like Peapod is -

1. You can pick from a variety of local stores...for my area it's stores like Wegmans, Harris Teeter, Safeway...even Costco.
2. Much easier to search for the items you want.
3. Can be delivered within two hours of you ordering.
4. A shopper will contact you if an item is out of stock and suggest replacements

I've used it twice so far with Costco (thank you for saving me from the crowds) and Wegmans (love this grocery store but too far away) and it was fantastic.  Groceries were delivered during nap time (the time of day when I like to get stuff done around the house) and everything was put away by the time they woke up and we could then head to the park.  I signed up for the Express membership for $149 for the year and I get unlimited free deliveries, can order from multiple stores in one order and will never have to pay extra during peak times.  If you haven't tried Instacart, I definitely recommend you do.  Click here to sign up and get $10 towards your first order - https://inst.cr/t/aaQ6cWS8K

#5 - Naked Smoky Palette
I'm very simple when it comes to my make up.  I've got my go-to products (which aren't a lot).  I usually stick to the same palette of colors for my eye shadow.  I was SO excited to see this Naked Smoky Palette as it's the exact color palette that I tend to wear.  I snatched it up immediately when it went on sale for 50% off!  Still available at Macy's.  Definitely recommend picking it up.

WORK
There are basically two different work pants I wear in the fall months - Banana Republic Sloan pants are my go-to pants.  They work for work or a night out.  And they come in short as well!

My other go-to are the J.Crew crepe pants.  They are so comfortable...elastic waistband...need I say more!!  And they come in petites.  I have them in black and blue too!

OTHER
I live in leggings on the weekend and I found these Halogen seamed leggings from Anniversary Sale...and they come in petite.  They have an elastic band on either side (remind me of my maternity leggings) which make them so comfortable.  Other items in outfit - shirt and sneakers.

These J.Crew skinny camo pants are a new favorite and will definitely be a staple this fall.  I really, really hope they come back in stock because I know many of you have your eye on them.

If you missed out on the first post in this series on outerwear staples, check it out here.
