Target Tuesday - Mainly Spring/Summer Try On

fleece / shirt / leggings

I am obsessed with this camo fleece. It is SO cozy and warm. Love the camo print because it has some subtle pink through out. Fit is true to size. I'm in a small.

Tie-dye is still in style and I am LOVING this sweatshirt. Perfect slightly oversized fit (I'm in a small). If tie-dye isn't your thing, don't worry this sweatshirt comes in all different prints/styles.

I love a good a paper bag short. These are such a unique color...one I don't have in my closet so I'm keeping them. They are super comfortable and great length (wish they were a bit shorter). They will look much better on me once I have a tan.   

I'm a sucker for a cute babydoll dress and this one from the Who What Wear brand is SO cute. Puff sleeve with a texture fabric. It's perfect for work or play and layering. Fit is true to size. 

In the spring/summer months I love sleeping in a nightgown and this one from Target's Stars Above brand fits the bill. Soft material, nice and lightweight and the length is perfect for me (I'm 5'1" for reference). Highly recommend.

I LOVE that dress season is almost here. I live in these types of dresses all spring/summer. What I love the most about this style dress from A New Day brand is it can be worn for work or play depending on how much I dress it up with shoes/jewels. Very comfortable and figure flattering. Layer it with a blazer or jacket on the cooler days.

I love wearing this color. One of my besties told me I should wear it more because it is "my" color. And the more I wear it, I think she's right. Don't worry if it isn't your color, this dress comes in a bunch of options. Love the lightweight gauze feel. You could also wear this as a cover up. Fit is a bit big so you might want to consider sizing down. I'm in an XS.

And Big Mini had a little shopping spree. She went through a growth spurt so I needed to get her some new clothes for our upcoming spring break trip. I love that she's got her own sense of style now. 

I'm not the only one who loves the tie dye trend. Big Mini is OBSESSED with this dress. She loves the maxi style and the flowiness when she walks.

Big Mini loves anything tie dye and this shirt is PERFECT for her. Also comes in a pink/red combo. Also these white shorts are so cute. Love the fray detail. I wish they came in my size. I do find Cat & Jack shorts do run a bit big so we size down.

I was surprised that she picked this t-shirt because pink hasn't been her color lately. It's a soft tee and will be great for everyday wear this spring and summer. And these shorts are darling. If you look close enough you can see the sequin cut out detail. She's obsessed with them.

Another maxi dress for the win! This girls is loving the long and flowiness of the maxi dress. This one has cute ruffle sleeve details. It comes in another floral print (which I liked more). 

Target Tuesday - Long Overdue Try On

Here's a LONG overdue Target Try On. Some great athletic, athleisure pieces, a fabulous dress and a guest appearance. 

bra / leggings / socks

Now that we are a Peloton family (we have the bike and tread) and I'm not going to a gym, I much prefer to wear a sports bra and leggings to do my workout so I've decided to upgrade my collection with some longer sports bras (I still get self conscious even at home). I'm loving this asymmetrical one from Target's Joy Lab collection. Really soft and sweat absorbent. Several colors to chose from. Size is pretty true, I'm in a small. 

tank / leggings / socks

Another fabulous workout sports bra/tank. Love the mesh detail for some extra ventilation for my extra sweaty workouts. Great support and is very comfortable. Fit is true to size. Also comes in black. 

sweatshirt / leggings / sneakers

I've got a Zoom friendly work/athleisure top for you. This funnel neck sweatshirt works great for those waist up phone calls but you can easily pair it with comfy leggings. Great ribbed detail and the zippers on either side allow you to adjust the waist. Normally I size up in sweatshirt but I'm in an XS in this one and it works great. Comes in a bunch of colors too.

I am OBSESSED with this dress. It's the perfect spring print and I will definitely be wearing it a lot whether I'm working from home or in the office. You can dress it up or down and layer it. Fit is true to size.It's currently on sale plus an extra percentage off with Target Circle. Highly recommend. 

It's been a while since Big Mini has taken a turn in the OOTD mirror. She's had a bit of a growth spurt and we needed to get her some new PJs. She's LOVING these tie-dye ones. They are SUPER soft and very comfy (her words)/ Fit is pretty true to size. She's in an 8. They actually have this set for the entire family for a matching look but we just decided to get them for her. She liked them so much that I ordered them for her in another print. 

Dressing Room Diaries - April Amazon Try On

How fun is this skirt?  Love how flowy and "twirly" as my minis said.  Comes in a bunch of different patterns.  Length worked on my 5'1" frame when I had heels on.  You can dress it up or down.  Wear to work or a night out.  I paired it with a crisp Target button down but it would also work with a tank or simple tee.  Fit is true to size. 

I LOVE a good romper and this one from Amazon is SO cute. Very flattering and it comes in a bunch of colors. I went with this pretty aqua because I already have a black one that is similar to this. Fit is true to size. 

This is such a fun dress for summer.  Love the color (bright blue and black are available if this isn't your cup of tea) and the flowiness.  Also has a cute high low hem...it is subtle and the perfect detail.  Dress it up for a wedding or throw on some cute slides for a more casual summer night look.  Fit is true to size.

I'm a BIG fan of the Daily Ritual brand and this sweatshirt is awesome.  SO soft and comfortable.  Perfect for your weekend lounging.  It comes in a bunch of other colors.  Fit is true to size.

T-shirt dresses are my favorite way to transition from cooler to warmer temperatures.  I've been wanting to try this one from Amazon's Essentials brand because it's been getting rave reviews.  And the reviews were right.  It's SUPER soft, very comfortable, flattering and versatile.  And you can't beat the price point (most options under $25, some are under $10!).  Lots of of different stripe options to pick from.  They are great on their own or pair them with a blazer or jacket.  Fit is true to size.  I'm wear and XS.

Now let's talk about my Minis.  I had originally bought these dresses for Easter and Spring Break but who knows how we will be celebrating now.  I absolutely LOVE the Hope and Henry brand on Amazon.  Such cute, preppy items for the whole family.  These seersucker dresses are incredible quality and look amazing...think Janie and Jack or vineyard vines but not the high price tag.

TARGET TUESDAY - Fashion for Your Mini

This week's Target Tuesday is all about my mini.  We are getting her spring ready with some amazing fashion finds from Target.

I am OBSESSED with this embroidered tunic top for her.  She looks so old!!!  Beautiful colors and tassel details.  And she LOVES it to so we have a winner!!!

I'm not the only one who is looking forward to dress weather.  Big Mini is OBSESSED with this Cat and Jack dress.  We both love the flutter straps and pastel embroidered detail through out.  It's lined so you can't see through it.  Would also look great layered with a jean jacket or hoodie.  As she said, "we are definitely packing this for spring break." 

Got her out of her comfort zone in this look.  I spotted these overall shorts in the store and had to get the for her.  SOOOOO cute.  And they are even cuter when she has them on.  Reminds me of my childhood looks.  I especially love the lace detail on the bottom. 

Now onto beach and pool attire....

She is OBSESSED with this emoji cover up.  Love the rainbow stripe and emoji decal.  Its sleeveless which is nice for those hot summer days.  Soft cotton and the tag said it has an extra layer of UPF 50 protection.

This Cat and Jack suit has returned this year and Big Mini is soo excited.  She had it last year and just loved the rainbow and fringe.  It's super cute.  Highly recommend.

She was so excited for this suit to arrive because it has the flip sequin trend that she's got on several shirts.  Unfortunately, mom fail...I ordered the wrong size.  But other than that the bathing suit is so cute.  Love the flip sequin and it's got great coverage for when she's running around the pool.

Five Friday Favorites - Recent Amazon Purchases

I apologize for the briefness of this week's Five Friday Favorites but with two sick kids and husband in the house it's been hard to find time to get this written.  I've been doing A LOT of Amazon shopping lately so I thought I would share my top five favorite purchases from the last month.  There's a little of this and a little of that...


#1 - Down Puffer Coat

If you follow Christina's Favorite Things on Facebook then you have definitely seen this coat.  SO many people were raving about it that I had to try it and I LOVE IT!  It's SO comfortable and REALLY warm (I wore it when we were having Polar Vortex).  I'm wearing an XS but probably could have gotten away with XXS.  I'm personally a big fan of the green color but there are other colors are available.  This also goes on lightning deal a lot so follow my FB page and Instagram and I'll alert you when it's coming up.


#2 - Mixing Bowls 

I know totally random but I've been on the hunt for a set like this.  I LOVE to cook and for as long as I can remember I've been using the same two nesting bowls as my prep bowls (one of which was cracked).  I pulled the trigger on these when they went on lightning deal and so glad I did.  I've used at least one almost every day since I got them.  Highly recommend. 

#3 - Flameless LED Candles

I have been looking for thinner flameless pillar candles for years to put in these lanterns I got.  Seriously like 3 or 4 years.  Whatever I ended up finding were super expensive until this Amazon purchase.  It's great because they are remote controlled so I can have them on or off whenever I want.  And there's a timer as well in case I forget to turn them off.  Highly recommend!  I ended up getting two sets to fill out the lanterns. 

#4 - I Need a New Butt book

I forget where I saw this book but I had to get it for my kiddos because they love potty humor.  It's the perfect small gift for them for Valentine's Day.  I love when I can find a book that gives my girls a good laugh. 

#5 - Heart Dress for Little Mini

How cute is Little Mini in this dress?!?!?!  It's by far her new favorite...wears it once a week.  It's the third dress I've bought for her from them.  She loves all things twirly and so when I can find affordable ones she loves, I stock up.  Definitely recommend!
