This weekend was very busy! I was hosting a bridal shower at my house for my friend Shannon and my friend Margaret was in town visiting (she was helping me host the shower, along with my friend Lisa). Friday night was spent getting ready for the shower and catching up with my friend Margaret. I only get to see her about twice a year so we always have lots to chat about.
Saturday was the bridal shower. It was so nice and couldn't have been possible without my co-hosts - Lisa and Margaret. Here are some pictures from the shower -

Then on Sunday we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and spend the day in the city to see the Cherry Blossoms. We ended up meeting up with a few of our friends and my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece. A lot of other people had the same idea, it was very crowded but worth it. Here are some pictures from our day -

This is the first time in three years I haven't been around to see the cherry blossoms. I don't miss the crowds...but I sure do miss the blossoms! They are so gorgeous. DC is so beautiful this time of year!
Christina, is your green coat from Old Navy? I tried on one just like it this past weekend and I loved it! Looks great on you!
looks like your weekend was fun! those trees are beautiful!
The cherry blossoms look amazing! I plan to be in DC in a few weeks and hope that they hang on long enough for me to see them! :)
