Another idea. I got the Longaberger kiddie purse with lid. Immediately, when my daughter was born the nurse stamped both her feet on the underside of the lid. I later wrote in her name, birthdate, weight, time of birth, etc. Now she has a little keepsake purse...or maybe I have....not sure if I am willing to part with it just yet. She is now 8.
