To Tweet or Not to Tweet

Everyone I know Twitters (ok well not everyone but a lot of people I know). I've been holding out on not signing up because I feel like that is one more thing for me to do - blog, Facebook, etc. Lately I feel like I really should sign up for Twitter but I just don't know. What do you guys think?

I feel the same way...I just don't know if I want to take the plunge...

I signed up on Twitter but rarely ever go there. It almost seems pointless to me; there really isn't any content other than the "tweets," and those get boring in my opinion.

I love Twitter. I use it more than Facebook and such for friends that I have online.

Facebook is primarily for friends in real life!

think its pretty fun, i'm not crazy about updates, and you can follow celebrities! totally worth it for the gossip :)

It's so easy to use, espescially if you d/l a program (Seesmic Desktop or Tweetdeck) that allow you to update both Facebook AND Twitter! Cuts down the time, and is actually really enjoyable!

I got on it just to syndicate my blog posts but now I'm fully hooked. I even installed TweetDeck at home... not a good sign...

that being said I use it to talk to people- not to constantly update the boring details of my life.

I don't see the point. I don't need to know that much about my friends, nor do they need to know that much about me. I can call them.

I signed up for Twitter but it made me feel over-extended. Just one more thing to update, be in charge of, blech.

I feel the same way. But I also don't really know anyone who has it besides celebs. I just don't see any difference in it from facebook really. We are constantly changing our status on there too.

I signed up to do it through my blog, but few of my IRL friends do it and I always seem to forget to update
