Target Tuesday - Quarantine Try On Session #2

This is my go-to color for spring and summer so I had to snag this top from the Who What Wear brand.  I love the bright and vibrant color and the ruffle detail is perfect. You can dress it up or down...pair with pants or shorts. Also comes in a chambray color. Fit is true to size.

This is the perfect sweatshirt to add to your comfy clothes collection. And let's face it we are all basically living in comfy clothes these days. Pairs great with leggings, jeans or shorts. I size up for a larger fit. Other colors and prints available. Highly recommend.

I love eyelet for spring/summer and this three-quarter sleeve top from Target's A New Day line is SO cute. Very comfortable and looks great with jeans or shorts. Comes in a pretty red color too. Fit is true to size.

I'm trying to change up my athleisure wear a bit and not always wear leggings and these joggers are PERFECT. Very comfortable and the length isn't an issue. Come in a few colors but I went with the blue because I already have a similar black pair. Fit is true to size. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Quarantine Reorganizing - Small Touches in Kitchen

During this quarantine, I decided I was going to make the most of it and use this time at home to reorganize and declutter my house...one room at a time. This was a New Years resolution that I started and now I have plenty of time to finish it. First up was the kitchen (since the pantry has stayed organized). Each day I went through one or two cabinets and drawers and reorganized and purged things. And oh it feels so good! I got rid of a lot and tackled a few small organizing projects.

Under the kitchen sink has always been a hot mess and so hard to find things till now. I got a two-tiered organizer that pulls out so everything has its place and the other side the bottles are neatly organized in a bin.

I also decided to simply the kitchen sink area and loving that there's barely anything on it.

The last organization project in the kitchen was organizing the drawers. I picked up a few drawer organizing to make it easier to find things. I forgot I had some of this stuff.

The next project I'm going to tackle is the guest room closet/drawers. It is where I keep all of our extra sheets, towels and other random things.

Dressing Room Diaries: J.Crew Spring/Summer Finds

This is technically a cover up but I LOVE it as a dress. The pastel stripes are perfect for summer. It's a thin lightweight material but not to see through. It's low cut (since it's a cover up) so you can show the cleavage or put a cami underneath. Fit is true to size. Love this one! 

This shirt just screams spring. Love the pink and the eyelet detail is on point. The material is thin and can look sheer in some places so I'd consider wearing a cami underneath. Fit is true to size. Works with pants or shorts. Several colors to pick from.

I couldn't do a dressing room diary and not have at least one black article of clothing. LOVE this popover shirt. It's a classic to have in your closet. You can dress it up for work or a night out. Goes with SO many things. Fit is true to size and comes in a few colors - like a fun pink and coral for spring/summer. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I really, really wanted to like this look but I think I'm just too short for it. If I was a little taller, I think it would look much better. It is SUPER comfortable...like wearing pajamas. You can dress it up or down. It's two pieces so mix and match. Fit is true to size.

This sweatshirt is a great way to "dress up" our stay home looks these days. Love the pink and blue combination. And what's great is it works with leggings, joggers or dress it up with jeans. Fit is true to size...if you want a looser fit then I'd recommend sizing up.

Looking to change up your leggings/athleisure wear this spring/summer then try these gauze pants. Super comfortable and light weight. Fit is true to size and works in the length even if you are a shorty like me. The white isn't too see through and it also comes in navy. Definitely recommend.

Here's another gauzy option but in dress form. It's super flowy and SO comfortable. Great on its own or as a beach cover up. Also comes in white. Fit is true to size and it's on sale right now.

Target Tuesday - Quarantine Try On Session

Another Target Tuesday review, but let's be honest, I've got nothing but time on my hands to do at home try ons for you. Lots of cute spring/summer finds for when we leave our houses again.

jumpsuit / shoes

I LOVE a good jumpsuit and this one is amazing.  Great for SO many occasions depending on how you style it.  Fit is true to size.  Comes in two other colors.  Highly recommend!

This is the perfect transition dress from winter to spring.  Whether you are running around doing errands or heading into the office (one day we will all be heading back).  Dress it up or down.  It's SO comfortable.  Fit is true to size.  Remember, I'm 5'1" so you get a sense for length.  I'm purposely not wearing shoes so it's true to length on me.  It also comes in red.

LOVE this dress. It's so flattering and perfect for work or play.  I love the drop waist.  Style on it so own or pair with a blazer or denim jacket.  It's really comfortable too.  Comes in a few colors.  Fit is true to size.

I'm a big fan of these high waisted shorts from Target's A New Day brand. A nice lightweight fabric that you can dress up or down, pair with flip flops or wedges. Fit is true to size. Comes in a few colors. And they are under $20! I paired it with my new favorite tank from Target. Love the sleeve cut of this one. Comes in a bunch of colors. I found it ran small so size up.

I LOVE white dresses in the summer time. It's a clean palette to accessorize with pops of color in shoes, jewelry and accessories. This babydoll style one from Target's Wild Fable line is SO cute. It was a little snug in the busy so keep that in mind as you might want to size down.

Dressing Room Diaries - April Amazon Try On

How fun is this skirt?  Love how flowy and "twirly" as my minis said.  Comes in a bunch of different patterns.  Length worked on my 5'1" frame when I had heels on.  You can dress it up or down.  Wear to work or a night out.  I paired it with a crisp Target button down but it would also work with a tank or simple tee.  Fit is true to size. 

I LOVE a good romper and this one from Amazon is SO cute. Very flattering and it comes in a bunch of colors. I went with this pretty aqua because I already have a black one that is similar to this. Fit is true to size. 

This is such a fun dress for summer.  Love the color (bright blue and black are available if this isn't your cup of tea) and the flowiness.  Also has a cute high low hem...it is subtle and the perfect detail.  Dress it up for a wedding or throw on some cute slides for a more casual summer night look.  Fit is true to size.

I'm a BIG fan of the Daily Ritual brand and this sweatshirt is awesome.  SO soft and comfortable.  Perfect for your weekend lounging.  It comes in a bunch of other colors.  Fit is true to size.

T-shirt dresses are my favorite way to transition from cooler to warmer temperatures.  I've been wanting to try this one from Amazon's Essentials brand because it's been getting rave reviews.  And the reviews were right.  It's SUPER soft, very comfortable, flattering and versatile.  And you can't beat the price point (most options under $25, some are under $10!).  Lots of of different stripe options to pick from.  They are great on their own or pair them with a blazer or jacket.  Fit is true to size.  I'm wear and XS.

Now let's talk about my Minis.  I had originally bought these dresses for Easter and Spring Break but who knows how we will be celebrating now.  I absolutely LOVE the Hope and Henry brand on Amazon.  Such cute, preppy items for the whole family.  These seersucker dresses are incredible quality and look amazing...think Janie and Jack or vineyard vines but not the high price tag.

Target Tuesday - MAJOR March Try On Session

LOVE this dress!  It's the perfect tiered maxi dress.  Comes in a bunch of colors but I love the coral stripe.  The length works on my petite frame.  Wear it on its own or pair with a jacket or blazer for layered look.  Fit is true to size.

This is the perfect transition dress for spring.  Great with booties, wedges, sandals and more.  Love the red but it also comes in white.  Layer with a denim jacket or just wear on its own.  Fit is true to size.

Like I said in last Target Tuesday's review, I love simple black tops and here's another fabulous one.  Love the gathered sleeve.  It's great for work or weekend.  It would also pair nicely under a blazer.  Comes in another color - the website says Arctic Ice which would make me think white but the picture looks like it has a very slight shade of purple.

I love the color of this Knox Rose top.  It's the perfect transition piece both from winter to spring and summer to fall.  The picture makes it look darker than it is...its a dark blush pink, not a clay color like the picture.  Fit is true to size but its a bit long on my 5'1" frame so I had to do the French tuck.

Love a good denim short in the spring and summer months and these Universal Thread ones are AMAZING and did I mention they are under $20!!!  There is just the right amount of distressing.  Fit is true to size.

Full disclosure I need a TAN so take that into consideration when you are looking at this jumpsuit.  That being said I LOVE this.  The colors are perfect for spring, material is soft and overall the fit is really comfortable.  It's great on its own or pair it with a denim jacket.  Highly recommend.  I sized up to a small.

I am READY for sandal weather and these super cute slides will be on repeat this summer.  They are very comfortable and will go with SO many looks.  You can dress them up or down, wear with pants, skirts, dresses or shorts.  Highly recommend.  Also comes in black.

I've been trying to find a cute cropped sweatshirt that wasn't too cropped.  I ended up going with this one from Nordstrom but this one from Target is a great look for less.  Soft cotton and comes in other neutral colors.  And it's under $20. 

Target Tuesday - Tops and more tops...and one dress

Things with work are finally getting back to normal which means I have more time on the weekends and evenings to work on dressing room reviews.  Target has been hitting it out of the park lately with their new arrivals.  Here are some of my favorites.

Love a good graphic tee and this one is perfect for Valentines Day.  Fabulous blush pink color with cute lip designs.  I sized up to a small for a looser fit.

This is really cute dress from the Xhilaration brand.  Love the cap sleeve.  This dress is great on its own or would pair nicely with a denim jacket.  Great transition piece with booties and layers and then sandals when the weather warms up.  Since it's a juniors brand, I sized up to a small.  

I love a nice crisp white button down.  They are great for all seasons.  This is the perfect casual one.  You can wear it tucked it or out or like I have in a nice knot.  Works great with pants, skirt or shorts.  HIGHLY recommend this one.  Fit is true to size.

You know I love black and wear it A LOT so I'm always looking for different style tops.  This is a cute "sweatshirt" from the Who What Wear brand.  Love the smocked waistline.  You could definitely dress it up or down.  Very comfortable too.  Also comes in a blush color which would look super cute with white jeans.  True to size.

Dressing Room Diaries - January Amazon Fashion Finds

Here's a recap of some recent Amazon finds...some of them were in December but I didn't get a chance to do a full recap but they still work now. 

Here's a great cozy sweater I got on LIGHTNING deal.  Love the knit and the batwing sleeves.  Comes in a bunch of colors...I opted for cream to transition to spring in the cooler March/April months.  Fit is true to size. 

Ignore the wet hair but don't ignore this super cute dress.  Love polka dot print.  I opted for my go-to black but there are lots of colors to pick from.  Fit is true to size.  And this is the perfect transition to spring dress.  

I had originally bought this dress thinking I'd be tan in Puerto Rico but if you follow me on Facebook then you know that trip didn't happen.  I decided to keep this dress because I love the off the shoulder and high low style.  Fit is true to size.  I'll probably bring this one with me on spring break.  

I snagged this dress on lightning deal and I'm SO glad I did. I LOVE it and it's PERFECT for work. In fact I think I'll wear it tomorrow. Very comfortable and so chic. The length works for me even thought I'm 5'1". It's great for this weird weather where it's cold in the morning and warms up in the afternoon. Fit is true to size...I'm wearing a small. Lots of colors to pick from.

I LOVE pleated skirts.  I have three in my closet already...and this one is the perfect add to the collection.  This one is perfect for the holidays but there are other colors available if you want something less festive.  Fit is true to size.  

I LOVE when Big Mini and I twin in our fabulous winter coats.  She loves how warm she is in this.  Comes in a bunch of colors but we had to get the same color.  

Target Tuesday - First Dressing Room Diary of 2020

Finally getting my first blog post up for 2020 and what better way to kick it off then with a #TargetTuesday try on.

sweatshirt / leggings

You know I love my athleisure wear for weekends and work from home days and this Joy Lab turtleneck sweatshirt is AMAZING.  So comfortable and cozy.  Nice length to wear with leggings.  Fit is true to size.  Also comes in a blush color.

I had originally gotten these pajamas to take on our vacation to Puerto Rico.  They are so soft and comfortable.  These remind me of my favorite Nordstrom brand (but a fraction of the price).  These will definitely be on repeat this summer.

This graphic tee represents most days in my house.  Whether its work, kids or life...mama loves some wine to unwind.  With this shirt I sized up to a small because I didn't want it to be too tight.  It's made of soft cotton...great with jeans or leggings.

I love the style of this Who What Wear dress...so much movement and the tie neck detail is spot on.  Comes in other prints too.  My only issue with this dress is the length.  Normally I can get away with midi-length as full length on my frame but with this dress it just hits at a weird spot.  I would recommend this dress if you are taller than 5'1".

This dress was just ok for me.  I LOVE the print but the length of the dress is weird on my 5'1" frame.  Sleeves are gathered which is a cute detail.  I like that it's belted to give me a waist.  Great for work or an event.  Fit is true to size.
