Five Friday Favorites #20

This week's Five Friday Favorites is a mix of some of my favorite recent purchases/gifts. 

#1 - Barefoot Dreams Robe 

I LOVE Barefoot Dreams...and I can add this robe to my list of favorites.  Hubby got it for me for Valentine's Day.  Runs true to size and comes in a whole variety of colors. 


#2 - Shop for a Cause 

For the month of April but really starting now, Stella & Dot will be offering this Unity bracelet for Autism Awareness Month to customers and they will donate all net proceeds from eligible customer purchases of the bracelet to the HollyRod Foundation. My goal is sell 100 of them (retail price $19) and I will also donate my proceeds from any sales. Share with friends and family and help me raise money for this important cause. 

#3 - Must have Target Dress

This FABULOUS Who What Wear dress for Target is sooo amazing.  The fit is so flattering and I love the print.  Highly recommend!  And the best news it's on sale right now for $24!!  
#4 - Madewell Top

Really, really like this Madewell top. The perfect transition top. True to size. Beautiful embroidered detail. Also comes in a blue version. I went ahead and ordered both so I can compare to see what I like best but its going to be hard to top this pretty white.  

#5 - Target Pajamas

I am absolutely OBSESSED with these pajamas from Target.  They are sooo soft and remind me of my favorite (but on the pricier side) PJ Salvage pajamas.  They come in a set with shorts and then I also picked up a pair of the cropped pants for cooler temps.  True to size.  Highly recommend!  

Five Friday Favorites #19

With all the travel I've been doing for work, I thought I'd dedicate this week's Five Friday Favorites to my favorite travel must have items!

#1 - Favorite Travel Look

When I travel most times I have to be in work clothes because I have to head right to meetings but when I don't this is by far my favorite travel outfit.  It's cute but very comfortable! Shop all the pieces -

#2 - Two Favorite Travel Bags

I have two favorite travel bags...first is the Getaway.  I took this as my carry on bag to Hawaii and it was perfect.  It's adjustable and fits SO.MUCH.STUFF.  This is my go-to bag not just for airplane travel but also when we do weekend trips, etc.  Highly recommend and comes in all sorts of patterns. 

The second is the Crush It Bag.  Technically it's a gym bag but it's a perfect size to take on a plane and the bottom compartment fits my laptop perfectly.  I made this my "purse" for this last trip and was able to have my roller bag be my carry on.  Fit everything I needed.  Highly recommend. 

#3 - Perfect Travel Dress 

 I got a simple black LOFT swing dress a couple years ago and it is my go-to travel dress YEAR ROUND.  Doesn't take up a lot of space and works so well no matter the climate.  I took it with me on my trip this week specifically to wear in NY with boots and tights but when plans changed I could wear it in Houston with bare legs and flats.  Highly recommend...here's a similar one.  

#4 - Face Mask

Traveling really takes a toll on my skin.  I try to remember to pack one of these masks to take with me to do before bed one night.  Doesn't take up a lot of spaces but gives my skin that extra boost of hydration it needs.  

#5 - Versatile Jewelry

I love my jewelry but when I travel I try to keep it simple and pack/wear stuff that is versatile and will go with most outfits.  This trio is a go to travel selection for me because they can be worn together or separately depending on the outfit.  Shop the pieces here -

DRESSING ROOM REVIEW: J.Crew Haul

I LOVE this green color...perfect Kelly Green and would be great today for St. Patrick's Day.  Love the cut and the cap sleeves.  Very flattering.  Perfect for work or play.  I went XS Petite because these type of shirts from J.Crew tend to run really big.  Well in this case the XSP was just a bit too snug so I'm going to go with a SP and I think it will be perfect.  Also comes in white and khaki. 

Also in this look are some new favorite black pants.  These are the high rise Cameron pants.  Love the fit...remind me of my favorite Banana Republic Sloan pants.  Just enough stretch and love the crop length.  Highly recommend.  Also comes in navy and olive.  True to size...I'm wearing a 4P. 

I really liked this drapey top...it's perfect for work.  Love the fit and the cap sleeve.  My only issue is that it is very see through so you definitely have to wear a cami under it.  True to size.  Also comes in black and olive.  Shop other pieces in the look here - pants and shoes.  

I really wanted to like this top but it was just too boxy on me.  I went petite again and that worked for the length but the shirt itself just didn't have any shape.  It's a shame because I really like the chambray stripe and the overall style. 

Won't be posted a pic of me in the bikini I ordered but I wanted to review it.  I LOVE the print and the cut of this style top.  The top fit perfectly (I sized up to a small) but the matching bottoms were WAY TOO small in the tush region so sadly I had to return it. 

I've been on the hunt for a simple black blazer to pair with jeans.  I love the look and fit of the Parke blazer.  Great material, flattering shape and good quality.  And the polka pattern on the inside is a nice touch.  I should have steamed the bottom of the blazer before hand but I was a little lazy.  True to size (I'm wearing a 4P).  Comes in a whole host of other colors as well.  Shop other pieces in this look - tee, jeans and shoes. 

Love this flutter sleeve top.  The ruffle detail gives a basic white tee just a little something extra.  Perfect summer top with shorts but will also work with jeans or cropped pants.  True to size.  Wearing an XS. 

Five Friday Favorites #18

I can't wait for the weather to warm up so for this week's Five Friday Favorites I'm highlighting five recent purchases that I can't wait to wear this spring.  

#1 - Old Navy Stripe Dress 

This is the perfect transition dress from Old Navy.  Love the sweatshirt material.  It's super soft and the lace up detail is the perfect touch.  Highly recommend.  True to size. 


#2 - Stella & Dot CeCe Earrings

I am going to be wearing these earrings ALL THE TIME this spring and summer.  Perfect color to go with so many of my outfits.  They are SO light weight...you don't feel like you are wearing a big earring.  Highly recommend picking up a pair. 

#3 - Colorful Jeans

Stepped out of my comfort zone with these but I'm so glad I did.  I adore these teal jeans from LOFT.  They are definitely going to be a staple this spring...dress them up or down.  And best news from you short ladies...they have petites! 


#4- Felicity & Co Dress 

I LOVE, LOVE this dress.  I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it.  Very flattering and such a great color.  And it pairs so nicely with favorite #2 this week.  Dress also comes in a pretty bright blue but I'm partial to the pink. 

#5 - Blush Sneakers 

Since spring weather can sometimes be too cool for flip flops I'm always looking for a cute sneaker to wear instead.  I LOVE these Universal Thread ones...and the $20 price tag is nice too.  They don't have half sizes so I recommend going a half size down.  I normally wear a 6.5 and I wear a 6 in these. 

Five Friday Favorites #17

I've been super MIA this week from the Facebook and Instagram pages.  Work was absolutely INSANE and then I ended up getting stuck in NY for an extra night because of a snowstorm.  Here are this week's Five Friday Favorites.

#3 - Upcoming Hunter Target collaboration

I don't know about you but I am SUPER excited for the Hunter Target collaboration.  I've been wanting a new pair of short Hunters but haven't been able to justify the price but with this new collection, I'm sure the prices will be perfect!  

#4 - Air Pods
My husband bought me these for Valentine's Day and they are AMAZING.  They are so good for travel...especially on the train when I was back and forth taking calls.  Highly recommend. 

#5 - New Favorite Sandals 

I have a feeling these are going to be my go-to sandals this summer.  Obsessed with them.  I definitely recommend getting a pair before they sell out.  Three places I found you can buy them -

Trunk Club Reveal #5

I absolutely love this French Connection dress.  The print is so pretty...the fit is SUPER flattering.  But, the length was a bit to short for me for work.  It was also definitely too small so size up.  It also comes in a really pretty light blue version.  

This was my FAVORITE dress of all the ones I tried on.  I just love the cut of this dress.  It's sooo flattering.  I couldn't justify the $128 price tag but I don't have a real need for it right now.  I'm wearing a size 2 and I'd want to try a 4 just to see the difference but I definitely don't need petite.  Love this color too for spring/summer.  

Here's another fabulous dress from this trunk.  It's a super cute fit and flare dress from Charles Henry.  I LOVE the fit...sooo flattering.  I wasn't a huge fan of the color.  Would have rather it had been black or a spring/summer bright color.  Definitely recommend.  And it's under $100.  

I love the fit and flare dresses from Vince Camuto.  I have this style in a pretty bright blue so I passed on this print one.  It's really pretty and a great flattering fit.  Highly recommend.  

Always searching for new work pants...especially ones that fit me that I don't need to have hemmed.  I'm a huge fan of Banana Republic's Sloan but want some new choices.  I really liked these Halogen cropped pans.  Great price ($69)...perfect length for me when I get petites and they have several color options.  True to size.  Highly recommend.
