#1 - Target Off the Shoulder Dress

Love how this off the shoulder dress actually stays in place thanks to the sleeve placement.  Since this is junior sizing I recommend sizing up one size.  Navy print is also available.  And this is also a new favorite because there is something about this dress that Hubs just loves...I got so many compliments from him!!!

#2 - Amazon Eyelet Dress

I got SO many compliments on this fabulous dress when I wore it last weekend.  Everyone was SHOCKED that it was from Amazon and it's under $30.  I will probably be wearing it again next week for family pictures.  I packed two different options so stay tuned to my Insta stories for a poll!

#3 - Amazon Floral Maxi

I'll admit, I didn't have any intention of keeping this dress but after I tried it on, I had too!!  It's SO amazing.  The print is beautiful, the fit is fab and it's feels so much more expensive than the $31 price tag.  Oh and the leg works too!!  Highly recommend.  Fit is true to size.

#4 - Cupshe Floral Bikini

I'm a BIG fan of Cupshe bathing suits both one pieces and bikinis.  I love this floral one.  It has super cute ruffle detail but I still feel secure in the top and bottom.  And you can't beat the price tag.  Fit is true to size.

#5 - Gibson x HiSugarplum Shorts

I'm loving the paper bag shorts trend.  This is the second pair I've bought from Gibson and LOVE!  The colors are an awesome pairing.  You can dress them up or down.  There's movement to them which makes them super comfortable.  I'm in petite.  True to size.  Here's another great pair from Gibson that I love. 

Fourth of July Styling Ideas

No matter what your plans are for Fourth of July, I've got the look for you.  I've styled casual and dressy, very patriotic to subtle solid red, white and blue.  Check out some of my favorite looks -

I love the detail on this J.Crew peplum top (available on Amazon with Prime shipping).  The embroider detail is PERFECTION.  It's a subtle way to do Fourth of July colors.  I'd pair it with a pair of white shorts or white jeans.  SO cute.

If you'd prefer to wear shorts, try these paper bag ones from J.Crew that are on sale right now.  Super cute style made with comfortable cotton.  You can dress them up or down.  If you'd prefer a solid color vs. print then try these (from the Gibson x HiSugarplum line).

This is the perfect red, white and blue dress.  Super cute wrap style (runs a bit big in chest area) dress with pulls of the patriot colors throughout.  You can definitely dress it up or down.  Great Target price point.

Here's another red, white and blue print dress. Very flattering silhouette.  Straps are thick enough that you can wear a bra with it.  Very comfortable too.  And another great Target price point.

If you'd rather a more subtle print in a dress then try this navy and white polka dot one from Amazon.  Super comfortable.  Another one you can dress up or down.  

If you don't want a print at all then here are some fabulous solids with both dresses and rompers (my favorite).  Varying price points from Amazon and Nordstrom.  You can't go wrong with any of them.  Fit is true to size across the board (I'm in petites for the rompers).

Dressing Room Diaries - Gibson x HiSugarplum Pop of Color Collection

Here is the FABULOUS #gibsonxhisugarplum Pop of Color collection.  This is by far my FAVORITE collection she has done.  Everything is on point with color, prints and fit.  I'm wearing a PXS in everything unless otherwise noted.  While a lot of stuff has sold out, I have a feeling there will be restocks as folks return.  I'll keep you updated on the restocks on my Facebook page.

I love this top...super soft cotton with a flattering cut.  Love the ruffle sleeves.  You can wear it with any bottoms.  Two stripe options and some solids available.  True to size.

I'm a big fan of the paper bag shorts.  And of course she has a fabulous pair in this collection.  Love the prink and red print.  So fun.  Also comes in a solid red.  Dress them up or down.  They sold out quickly but keeping check back as I think with returns, they will come back in some sizes.

I LOVE the fit of this dress.  SO flattering with the racerback style. You can totally dress it up or down. I didn't get a good picture of the back but there is GORGEOUS embroider detail. Other colors available. Fit is true to size.

I LOVE everything about this one shoulder top - the fit, print, length, etc. It's such a fabulous shirt. You can dress it up or down...wear with pants, shorts or a skirt. Several prints and solid colors available. Fit is true to size.

I LOVE a good romper and this one from the collection is super cute.  You can dress it down or up (it's not cotton...it's a polyester blend).  Fit is true to size.  I made the mistake of sizing up and it was too big.  Comes in another pretty print and solid black.  

I'm a big fan of maxi dresses...especially when they come in petite sizes.  This one from the collection is GORGEOUS.  I love the bright blue with the white embroidered detail.  Has a criss cross back.  I felt secure with no bra but you can definitely wear a strapless one.  Fit is true to size.

This is such a fabulous skirt.  Has soo much movement...it's so fun.  Fit is true to size (I'm in a PS...I always size up in skirts).  Love this print of course and it pairs perfectly with the one shoulder top but you can mix and match.  Would be a great skirt for work because the length is just above the knee.  Solid colors and other prints available.

Five Friday Favorites - J.Crew Factory Stock Up Sale

J.Crew Factory is having a stock up sale so what better time then to share my favorite recent finds from there.  Check it out. 

#1 - Pom Pom Shorts

Love these shorts.  They are so comfortable and go with lots of looks.  Several colors to pick from.

#2 - Embroidered Tee

Really pretty simple embroidered tee goes with SO many looks.  Several color combos available.  Fit is true to size. 

#3 - Beach Bum Tee

I'm a HUGE beach bum in the summer so this graphic tee fits me perfects.  Perfect on it's own or layered with a sweater or jacket.  I sized up for a looser fit. 

#4 - Linen Pants

LOVE these linen pants.  They incredibly comfortable with an elastic waist.  Goes with SO many looks.  Check out this post that I did on that.  Other colors available.  True to size.

Dressing Room Diaries - June Amazon Try On

I LOVE, LOVE this shift dress from Lark and Ro.  The orange color is so vibrant and the details are on point with the collar and tie sleeves.  Comes in a couple of color options if orange isn't your thing.  Fit is true to size.

This is a super comfortable dress.  Super easy to just throw on for the day or dress it up.  Love the tiered detail.  Comes in other colors.  Fit is true to size.

Pom Pom Cover Up

Breathable material but not too sheer (at least with this blue) and fun pom pom detail. Comes in a BUNCH of colors. Highly recommend this one.

Looking for a simple, little black dress, then this Lark and Ro one is perfect.  The fit is extremely flattering.  Great length for most heights (wish it was a touch shorter for me but I'm in the minority at 5'1").  And you can wear a regular bra with it.  True to size.  Did I mention it has pockets too!!  Winner!  And if black isn't your thing, there are other colors available.

Navy Blue Cover Up

Navy is always a good cover up color based on my selection of swimwear. I love the detail on this one. So cute! Comes in other colors too.

This is a super cute blouse at a really affordable price.  You can dress it up or down.  Several colors available.  My only caution, if you are a shortie like me it's really long so just keep that in mind.

I have a white party to go this month and this dress is PERFECT for it.  LOVE the eyelet detail throughout.  I feel secure without having to deal with a strapless bra (huge bonus) and the length is perfect on me (meant to be a shorter look but I don't mind it).  Fit is true to size.

If you've been following me for a while then you know I'm a BIG fan of Amazon's Daily Ritual brand.  Super SOFT fabrics and really comfortable pieces.  This dress is no exception.  It's like wearing pajamas.  You can dress it up or down.  Fit is true to size.  A bunch of colors available.

Searching for Cover Ups

Everyone loved my one piece bathing suit review and the next question I would get is what about cover ups.  So, here's a rundown of some I found this season.

Pom Pom Cover Up

Breathable material but not too sheer (at least with this blue) and fun pom pom detail. Comes in a BUNCH of colors. Highly recommend this one.

Navy Blue Cover Up

Navy is always a good cover up color based on my selection of swimwear. I love the detail on this one. So cute! Comes in other colors too. 

Black and White Stripe 

I love a black bathing suit...especially at the beach so if it gets sand stuck in the material you can't tell.  This is the perfect cover up for those suits.  Love the stripes and the hood is a cute detail.  Very lightweight material.  It doesn't come in XS but the S fits me just fine.

Poncho

This is a super cute, oversized poncho but I'm wearing it as a cover up.  For us shorties, it's the perfect length.  Nice and oversized.  Love the exaggerated tie up detail.  If you are taller, this would be such a cute oversized hoodie!

Fringe Tunic

I LOVE this cover up.  Great white gauze material and great pops of color with the fringe detail.  This is a go-to cover up for me.  I had the same one a few years ago but the pops of color were different.  Highly recommend.

Ruffle Eyelet Cover Up

You know I'm a sucker for eyelet so I had to try this J.Crew one out.  I love it.  The floral eyelet detail is SO pretty!  Three quarter length sleeve is great.  Remember I'm 5'1" so if you are taller it's definitely going to be short on you....fits me at tunic length.  True to size.

This is such a chic cover up from Stella and Dot.  Love the blue and green detail trim.  You can wear it open like this or use the eye hook to close it in the front.  Goes with so many suits.

Floral Cover Up

Another great white cover up from J.Crew but this time with super cute floral detail.  Love the detail down the front, sleeves and on the sides.  Also comes in navy and red (and that one is on sale).
