I am OBSESSED with this stripe dress. Love the ruffle sleeve detail and tiered skirt. So flowy and fun, now I just need an occasion to wear it. It is a little low cut so if you have a larger chest you might want to pair with a cami. I'm a 34B/C and felt secure in it. Fit is true to size, I'm wearing an XS.

I had been wanting this top since last summer. I LOVE the embroider detail...lots of fun pops of color. Dress it up or down. Wear with shorts or pants. True to size. I'm wearing a small/US 2.

Finally got around to trying the peplum top that everyone is raving about and now I know why. SOOO cute. Super soft cotton and really flattering. Perfect spring transition top. Comes in a bunch of colors. True to size.

Amazon's Daily Ritual brand for the win again! This time with denim. These jeans are SO comfortable, fit amazingly well and come in short length. Oh and did I mention they are under $40!!! Fit is true to size. Different washes and lengths available. HIGHLY recommend.

Another Daily Ritual winner.  Love this navy/white stripe tee.  Fitted across the bust and lots of movement through the body.  Fit is true to size.  Other colors available.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these platform sandals. This style is on trend this season. I'm seeing them everywhere. At first try they seem comfortable but only time will tell over time. Comes in a bunch of colors and band styles. I like this basic tan color as it will go with so many things. Fit is true to size and they are under $35!!! 

Five Friday Favorites - NYC Travel Essentials

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you saw that we are spending the weekend in NYC for Little Mini's birthday.  Two nights filled with lots of fun stuff for us.  I thought for this week's Five Friday Favorites I would share my FIVE essentials for this trip that will hopefully make it a little easier -

#1 - Comfortable (but stylish) shoes

Just because you want to have comfortable shoes for traveling, doesn't mean they don't have to be cute.  I'm OBSESSED with these blush New Balances.  So comfortable but SO chic.  Goes with a lot of outfit options two...wearing them to travel in jeans and then travel home in joggers.  Plus I can wear them throughout the weekend depending on what we are doing.

#2 - Backpack with function and style

This super cute quilted backpack (also available in blush camo) is going to serve as my travel bag and purse.  With two kids to keep after while we explore, I didn't want to have to worry about having a purse on my arm and I'll be able to fit stuff for the kids.  This one has an easy access back pocket where I can put my phone, chapstick and other small items.  And it can fit my laptop and bag of snacks for the train ride.  HIGHLY recommend.

#3 - Packing Cubes 

In order to limit the number of suitcases I'm packing the minis and myself all in one bag and Hubs will be in another.  With this situation it was critical that we use both my packing cubes and the minis so that we could keep everything in order.  If you don't already own a set, I HIGHLY recommend.  I even got Hubs on board with them.

#4 - Portable Charger

I never leave for a trip without a portable charger...especially this trip because we will be out and about all day/night and using our phones for pictures, directions, Ubers, etc.

#5 - Headphones for the Minis

I probably should have listed kids tablets as one of the essentials but I thought that was a given.  Headphones are a MUST to go with them so they can still enjoy their show but not everyone else on the train does.  I picked these up on Amazon...under $15 and work great.  Several color options so each of the girls has their own and there's no fighting.

LOFT has LOTS of new spring arrivals that I had to share with you.  Some fabulous transition pieces as weather starts to warm up.

I love a good jumpsuit. LOFT had a super cute polka dot one that sold out quickly but don’t worry because they have a similar one in a floral print. It is sooo cute!! Also comes in petite but I’m wearing the regular length. Fit is true to size. 

dress (size XS P)

How cute is this dress from LOFT!?!?!  Love the green color and silhouette is so flattering.  Love that it's long sleeves for those cooler spring days.  Perfect dress for Easter because it's never as warm as we would like it to be.  Wear on it's own or pair it with a blazer.  Fit is true to size.

Loving this cute bloom print dress. It's the perfect spring transition piece. The tie detail and flounce skirt are perfection. Fit is true to size.

I LOVE a good t-shirt dress and this one from LOFT is a winner because it has the feel of a t-shirt dress but it's a thicker material and with the puff sleeves you can dress it up or down. Would look great paired with a denim jacket on the cooler days. True to size. Definitely recommend.

I love a mix media top and this one is SUPER cute. Sweatshirt material on top but the fluttery woven hem dresses it up. Pair with jeans or dress pants. Works for LOTS of occasions. Fit is true to size. Definitely recommend.

If you've been following Christina's Favorite Things for a while then you know I love a good black dress and this knit one is AMAZING. The fit and flare look is SO flattering. It's another one that you can dress up with heels and a fun earring or for a more casual look pair it with flats and a denim jacket. Also comes in whisper white. Fit is true to size.

I love a simple lightweight sweater in the spring/fall months as the weather transitions. This one is PERFECT because the fit is flattering and the material isn't too heavy or light. You can dress it up for work or date night or go more casual when running around town. True to size.

I got this dolman sleeve sweater last fall to transition to the cooler temps. It's back in three new colors, perfect for spring. Great lightweight material and you can dress it up or down. Fit is true to size...supposed to be a bit oversized.

I'm a sucker for a peplum top and this one is so cute. I love the print (same as the dress above). Perfect on its own or paired with a jacket on cooler days. And the pattern is one that could be worn all year round. True to size.

One Pair of Linen Pants...Six Ways

Dressing Room Diaries - Gibson x International Women's Day Collection

Finally getting around to reviewing the pieces in the Gibson x International Women's Day collaboration. I'm wearing and XS petite in everything and have noted fit in each. Let's start with a fun print...S

LOVE the print and the ruffle details of this cute top. Fit was a little big in the bust area so definitely consider sizing down. There's also a pretty lavender color available.

This tie top has been available before from Gibson but never in this pretty pastel floral print. PERFECT spring transition piece. Works well with white or dark jeans or nice pants. Fit is true to size. If you are on the shorter side like me, take note of the tie...it's a little long but doesn't bother me. Other solid colors available. Fit is true to size. There's also a few prints available for under $20 at Nordstrom Rack.

I never met a black top I didn't love and that includes this one. LOVE the dot detail on the material and the puff sleeves. Very soft. You can dress it up or down. Comes in two other colors as well. True to size.

Love a good navy/white combo in the spring and summer and this top is PERFECT for that. Babydoll style is cute and fun but still flattering. And I just love the crochet detail. Also comes in a blue/white print. Fit is true to size. This was a keeper!

Love this halter....Gibson really knows how to do this style of top. I have a similar one like this from last year and they just make them so flattering. Love the neckline and draping. This also comes in yellow and a fun print. True to size. Would pair nicely with white pants/jeans too.

Five Friday Favorites - A Little of This and A Little of That

#2 - Succulents

I ordered these ADORABLE succulents from Etsy seller SuccItUpSucculents as the favors for my sister's baby shower and they were AMAZING. A whole bunch of varieties came and even a few extras in case they were damaged in transit. She has all sort of amazing succulent offerings for you to have as favors for your next party, to gift or simply to have at your home. Highly recommend. #3 - Beach Hat

You will be seeing this hat on repeat this summer. I've had it in my Amazon shopping cart saved items for a year now. I discovered it at the end of the season last year and decided to wait to pull the trigger till I actually needed one again. I'm so glad I did. I LOVE the look and fit. And you can't beat the under $20 price tag.

#4 - New Balance Sneakers

I am LOVING these New Balances I got from DSW. They are under $60 and the PERFECT blush pink for spring. You will start seeing these on repeat for sure. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

#5 - White Eyelet Dress

I am DEFINITELY packing this Top Shop dress for spring break. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! It's so romantic and flowy and I'm a sucker for the eyelet detail. It runs big...I ended up sizing down one size. Also comes in blue. Now I just need a tan and it will look perfect! 

Target Tuesday - Dresses (and Jumpsuits) Try On

I am OBSESSED with this Who What Wear dress from Target. Love the cap sleeves and the asymmetrical hem. It is such a flattering dress. Perfect for work or special event. I really have no reason to keep this based on the other dresses in my closet but this one just fits me SO well I think I need to.

I LOVE a good jumpsuit, especially when I can find one that's affordable and fits my short stature.  This one from the A New Day brand is perfect!!!  So comfortable and very flattering.  Love the cap sleeve detail, provides a little more coverage for those that don't want to expose shoulders.  Would work well for work events, wedding or a night out.  You can dress it up how you see fit.  True to size.

This dress is the perfect spring transition piece.  Love the romantic, whimsical feel of it.  Rose print with ruffle details and the perfect peek-a-boo slit.  The Xhilaration brand is junior sizing so I always go one size up and the small worked perfectly!

This Who What Wear brand jumpsuit is out of my comfort zone but I really liked it.  I think the vertical stripes are SO flattering...makes me look taller and leaner.  It's very comfortable and flowy.  Again the length is supposed to shorter but it still works for me and isn't too long.

This faux ruffle dress from Who What Wear is so flattering.  I was so tempted to go with my usual black...other option is a black floral which is also very pretty.  This is a really flattering dress with super cute ruffle detail.  Dress it up or down.  Perfect for work or an event.
