Five Friday Favorites - Fourth of July Sales

You know I love an all black look and this long sleeve top from the fall line is SO cute.  The puff sleeve is the perfect detail to transform this top but that's not the most unique feature.  What makes this top so cute is that it's made of a scuba like material.  Very comfortable.  Comes in a burgundy fall color as well.  Fit is true to size.

I am absolutely LOVING this cross body bag.  It's the perfect little purse.  Cross body with just enough room to fill with my phone, slots of credit cards/license, lip gloss and keys.  Love the simple black quilted material...it's really great quality too.  You can dress it up or down.  HIGHLY recommend.  Price point is under $75!

I love a nice wrap in the winter...especially at work when it can be very cold in the office.  This leopard one is SO cute, SO soft and goes with SO many things in my closet.  Wear it as a wrap or as a scarf.  I HIGHLY recommend.

I LOVE a good statement earring and this one is PERFECT for the fall/winter...especially great to add a little color to your outfit.  They are light/medium weight and since it's a post it won't pull like a hook.  This is a two-in-one earring so the bottom portion comes off for a super cute and colorful stud.

Another FABULOUS wrap for this season.  They are perfect to dress up and outfit or if you are like me having on hand for the chilly office days.   In addition to the leopard one, they have two larger, reversible ones that are more like ponchos and are so soft.  Since they are reversible you get so much more wear out of them.  There are two options - blush/grey and charcoal/greenish gray.  Highly recommend.  

Love this rose gold necklace.  It's a great minimal statement necklace.  Dresses up a look but it's not too bold.  It's so pretty and will go with so many looks.

I am OBSESSED with these baguette blitz earrings.  They are so fun and the perfect statement earrings this holiday season.  Super lightweight so they don't pull on my earrings.  They are the perfect amount of bling for a work look or going out.  HIGHLY recommend!

I'm always looking for ways to give a little color to my all black looks and these Sardinia earrings.  Beautiful blue with gold detail.  These are the type of earrings that can be worn all year long.  HIGHLY recommend.

I wore this Halogen dress yesterday and got SO many compliments.  It is SO flattering.  I absolutely LOVE it.  Comes in a bunch of different prints.  I found it run a bit bit...I'm wearing a petite XS. 

#2 - Rothys 

I finally jumped on the Rothy's train and I don't know why I waited so long.  I got the sneakers and the pointy toe flats (size up a half size) and they are EXTREMELY comfortable.  And I like them even more because this month if you make a purchase from the styles marked with the Pink Ribbon and you will have the opportunity to gift a FREE pair of the new limited edition styles to a Breast Cancer Survivor! #3 - Fall Weekend Wear

This outfit is going to be on repeat this fall on the weekends.  Both the top and the leggings are from Amazon and they SO comfortable but still fashionable and extremely affordable. The dolman sleeve top comes in a bunch of colors and fits true to size.  The leggings are a nice thick knit and the best news is they come in shorts and longs...in addition to regular sizing.  I found they run a bit big...I sized up to an XS (normally I'm a small).  Highly recommend. 

#4 - Kiehl's Essence

My friend recommend the Kiehl's essence to add to my morning skincare routine.  I started using it this week and I LOVE it.  It's lightweight and my skin feels so fresh and I really feel like it has a nice glow to it.  Definitely recommend.

#5 - Target Faux Leather Skirt

This faux leather skirt was SO popular on Facebook when I posted it this week.  I can't wait to wear it and I think I will get the chance to wear it next week as temperatures start to get cooler.  Fit is true to size.  

Five Friday Favorites - Animal Print

Animal Print is all over EVERYTHING fashion this fall so I'm sharing my favorites from several fashion categories - dresses, shoes, accessories and tops.  Check out this week's Five Friday Favorites!

#1 - J.Crew Dress

Animal print with a twist on this J.Crew dress.  LOVE the pops of light pink throughout.  This dress is SUPER flattering.  Love the shirt style and belt.  And of course the best part is that it has pockets!!  Winner, winner!

#2 - Target Slides and Ted Baker Pumps

I'm cheating a little and adding two here because well if you aren't a heels girl than I wanted to share a fabulous flat.  Let's start with the pump.  I'm a BIG fan of Ted Baker shoes for work.  They are pricey but they are worth it because they are comfortable.  I wore these the other day at work and was fine all day long which is incredible because it was the first time I was wearing them.  These snake skin are going to be on repeat this fall/winter to spice up my all black looks.

Second are these super cute and much more affordable slides from Target. They are really comfortable and go with so many things - work or play.  If animal print isn't your thing, they have a bunch of other colors and prints. 

#3 - Stella and Dot Clutch 

LOVE this clutch from Stella and Dot because of the pop of navy and orange in the stripe down the front.  This will go with SO many things.  Inside the clutch will fit everything you need and there's a built in wallet.  Highly recommend!

#4 - Look for Less Sweater 

I snagged this sweater as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  It sold out really quickly and was barely restocked but lucky for you I found a FABULOUS alternative and a really great price point from Amazon.  If this print isn't for you, check out the other animal print options.


#5 - Stella and Dot Scarf

I was hoping this would have arrived before this post went up because I'm SO excited for it.  Should be here later today so stay tuned for a full review.  But this Stella and Dot scarf is the perfect fall/winter accessory.  I can't wait to pair this with my all black outfits.  Wear it as a wrap or a traditional scarf.  LOVE!

Dressing Room Diaries - September Amazon Try On

Amazon's Lark and Ro has become one of my go-to work wear brands.  Their dresses and tops are so cute and always a great price point.  I love this dress with a subtle print and it will transition nicely from fall (bare legs) to winter (tights and boots).  You can wear it on your own or pair it with a blazer or cardigan.  Fit is true to size.  Other color options available.

This is the perfect LBD (little black dress) for work.  The fit is on point, not revealing at all and you can pair it with a blazer or cardigan for layering.  What you can't see on this picture is the twist and key hole detail at the top giving it a little something extra.  My only complaint is that the length was a little long on me and I'd need to get it hemmed.  

I really wanted to like this dress.  I've been on the hunt for a dark green dress because I love the color over the holidays.  The overall fit of this dress was great except for the bottom.  I hated the slightly gathered bottom.  I don't think it's flattering on me at all.  What do you think?

This dress is SOOOO cute. Very comfortable and flattering. The only issue is that I got a defective one. The pockets were sewn completely wrong...they were completely off by at least 6 inches. It went back but I would definitely try it again when my size comes back in. Comes in other colors.

This sweater kept popping up for me as something I might like to buy so finally I decided to pull the trigger.  I wasn't sure how good the quality would be but I was pleasantly surprised.  I wear a lot of navy in the fall so this will be the perfect layering piece whether with a dress or pants.  Comes in other color options.  True to size.

You all know I love an all black look and this is going to be on repeat for me.  It's the perfect work look but could also be dolled up for a night out.  I love changing it up by playing with the shoes and accessories.  If black isn't your thing, try one of the other colors available.  Fit is true to size.  

This is a fabulous sheath dress for work.  It's from my favorite work clothes brand from Amazon, Lark and Ro.  It's extremely flattering and can be worn for most seasons.  Bare legs or with tights...on it's own or with a blazer.  True to size and several colors to pick from.

How cute is this sweater?!?!  It's such a fun piece for the cool fall and winter weekends.  Love the stars pattern.  It's a comfortable oversized look (true to size).  If black and white isn't your style, try one of the other color offerings.  

This is a FABULOUS faux suede moto jacket.  I can't believe it was under $40!!! I really, really wanted one of these during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but didn't want to sped the money because I wasn't sure how much I was going to really wear it.   But with this price point I jumped at the chance.  Fit is fabulous and you can dress this up or down.  Lots of color to pick from.  Fit is true to size.

Loving the style of this top.  Super cute ruffle sleeves with fabric detail across the front.  You can dress this up or down.  The color is way out of my comfort zone but I LOVE it.  Works well with my tan coloring.  Other colors available.  Fit is true to size.

I've really been lucking out with all the tops I've found on Amazon this year.  This one included.  Love the stripe with embroider detail.  I love that it's short enough that it will look great with shorts or pants.  Fit is true to size.  Other color options available.

Another work dress from Lark and Ro for the win.  Made of a great ponte material and I love the gathered three-quarter sleeve.  Works now with bare legs and will transition to winter with tights and/or boots.  Comes in some print options but I went with basic black.  Fit is true to size.  

Snuggly sweater weather will be here before we know it and this one is SOOO perfect for those cold winter nights.  Love the green (great for the holidays) and it has a super cute chunky knit.  Fit is true to size.  Other colors available.

Super cozy sweater from Amazon.  Not the best quality but a great one for bumming around the house or having on hand at your office for those chilly days.  It's very oversized so if you don't want that look consider sizing down.  LOTS of colors to pick from

My ONLY real fail from this try on...and it's not really a fail more of a just doesn't work for my body type (which is a bummer because it's super cute)

I really, really wanted this top to work because of love this style (faux wrap with high/low hemline) but it was HUGE on me.  The style is amazing but definitely size down.  There are two other colors available.  Another great one for work or play.  Would look fab under a blazer.

LOVE these sunnies.  They are the perfect tortoise blend with a hint of blush tones.  Very comfortable and definitely block the sun well! 

This is a FABULOUS fall clutch!  Give your blue outfits a little pop of color with this one.  Built in wallet inside and fits everything you need - phone, lip gloss, credit card, etc.

This is a very versatile ruffle top...you can wear it almost year round.  Goes great with shorts and flops or pair it with jeans and boots.  It's such a comfortable top.  Oh and the statement necklace I'm wearing is on sale too! PS - The statement necklace I'm wearing in the second picture is also on sale.

Another fabulous fall piece are these earrings.  I love the blue and orange tones with the hint of green.  These were on repeat last year and will be again.  Post style and not too heavy.  

If you aren't a fan of dangle earrings but still want a statement, these earrings are perfect for you!  Super lightweight with a post.  Sure to dress up any outfit.  I love wearing these with my fall/winter all black outfits!

This fabulous red/pink bag has been my go-to pool bag all summer.  It's the perfect size and the material can handle the cement pool deck and water that ultimately ends up on it.  Works really for any occasion not just the pool.  It's adjustable so you can make it fit the amount of stuff you have.  And I love a good monogram...this bag has a feature where you can have your monogram or something else personalized on the bag! 

This picture is has TWO sale items in one.  First is the Rayna necklace.  You get two amazing necklaces in one - long silver one with a pendant on the end and the other is black beaded.  Great together or wear individually.  The second item on sale is this fabulous off the shoulder top.  The gray is a super soft cozy material.  LOVE!  You can wear it off the shoulder or on both...whatever you are comfortable in.  Also comes in black, blue and red versions.  

I know summer is almost over but this cover up is on sale and it's worth snagging now to have for next summer or your next warm weather vacation.  There is an eye hook so you can close it.  Will go with so many suits.  Highly recommend.  

I LOVE this scarf.  I wore it ALL the time in fall/winter last year.  It's super comfortable, keeps you warm but is also a great fashion piece.  Love the grays and blues throughout.  Snag it now for the cooler temps!

I LOVE this beaded clutch.  It was the perfect accessory this summer.  Fits everything I need and goes with so many things. 

I LOVE the colors in this statement necklace - the pinks, greens and creams really make an outfit pop.  But the best part of the necklace is that it's REVERSIBLE and you can wear it on just the gold side for any outfit.
