May Monthly #OOTD Favorites

Another fabulously affordable outfit.  This dress is technically a midi length but on my 5'1" frame it's more maxi which is fine by me because its so hard to find maxi dresses for my height.  Shop all pieces in this look...

I used to shop at Boden all the time but some reason stopped the last couple of years...until now.  Obsessed with this skirt.  The pattern is so pretty and will go with so many thing.  Runs true to size.

I discovered a new brand I really love called 1901.  They are available at Nordstrom (of course) and this dress is my first favorite from them.  On sale right now!!

This is such a fab Target Style dress. Highly recommend. Perfect with or without the denim jacket.  Again another "midi" length that's more of a maxi on me.  Hurry because this will sell out.

Five Friday Favorites #24

#1 - Chambray Shirt 

I LOVE chambray...especially chambray shirts.  This one from Old Navy is under $30 and perfect!  I've already paired it with two different skirts - Target midi pleated (orange) and a fabulous printed Boden one. 

#2 - New blog series...Saturday Sorting

I started a new series on the blog a couple weeks ago called Saturday Sorting.  I'm in major organize and purge mode and taking you all along the journey.  Catch up the progress I've made with posts about organizing under my bathroom sink and how I'm keeping my clothing drawers tidy.

#4 - Statement Necklace 

I wear a lot of black and this Kalani statement necklace from Stella and Dot is the perfect statement necklace to pair with it all.  It's a heavy duty necklace with rope chain in black and white and gold balls dangling from it.  I LOVE it and get so many compliments every time I wear it.  Highly recommend. 

#5 - Perfect A New Day Tank

OBSESSED with this A New Day tank from Target. The material is great and it's super flattering. Comes in a bunch of colors and it's only $8! And the tanks are 2 for $10 right now. Highly recommend this. Paired it with these fab Universal Thread shorts also from Target for an outfit under $30!

Boden's Limited Edition Collection

Boden has a new Limited Edition collection for spring right now. Nothing really stood out for me except this adorable top. I really want it but not loving the $148.00 price tag. I also don't love that it isn't eligible for the 15% off I would get through Ebates. Ugh! I'm just going to keep my eye on it to see if it goes on sale.

Here's another one of my summer purchases. I picked up this tunic from Boden and absolutely love it. The pic quality isn't great since I took it on my blackberry. It's a light linen tunic but long enough for me to wear as a dress (I'm 5'1"). Right now its on sale for $58.00. I'm a big fan of Boden's tunics. This is the second season I've bought one. Here are reviews of a couple of Boden purchases I made. Not everything has come yet. I used Ebates so I got 10% off my order, free shipping, and 5% cash back.

First is the Double Layer Jersey Dress. Sorry I don't have a picture of me in the dress I completely forgot to take one when I wore it this week. I LOVE this dress. It is probably one of the most flattering dresses I own. My "trouble"area is my tummy and this dress makes me look like I have the flatest, skinniest little belly. Love it! It's a light jersey material so its perfect for spring, summer, and fall. You could even get away with it in the winter. In addition to gray the dress comes in a couple of different patterns and black. Remember Boden has U.K. sizes. The dress isn't cheap at $118.00 but going with my policy of not buying items full price I did get 10% off, cash back and free shipping.


Next item is what I am wearing today. I love this Favourite V-neck Cardigan. I got it in red stripe (red and light blue stripes). It's really cute and bright. The fit is great (I normally wear an XS or S so I got the smallest Boden size). Since the weather is still cold here (we had flurries this morning) I paired it with a white cami, my James Jeans (thank you Rue La La), and Favorite Thing #14. The whole getting my picture taken is still a little awkward. I decided to go with showing my face this time so I'm not cut off and looking heavier than I am. I still think I look weird (very cheerleader like today) so who knows maybe after the next four or five reviews I'll have the picture taking down to a science.

Love this spring collection...

...at Boden. I started noticing this company (based in England) because they kept sending me catalogs and each catalog the clothes would get cutier and cutier and now it is so hard to resist not to buy everything! They have two promotions going on right now:

There are a variety of colors and patterns available in this dress style. I'm really debating on whether or not to get it. Ibiza Kaftan Tunic ($78)- I love the colors in this dress. It would look perfect with the gold sandals I got from Banana Republic last year. FYI - the dress is on an 8 week back order.

Favourite V-neck Cardigan - I love the colors in this cardigan. The could be worn to work with a white button down shirt or casual with a white cami. I definitely think I'm going to be purchasing this cute shirt.

I LOVE this skirt. The only issue I have is I'm not sure what I have in my current wardrobe that would go with. I definitely open to buying a shirt to go with it but what? I don't like the shirt that they paired with it, any other suggestions?
