Five Friday Favorites - Recent Amazon Purchases

I apologize for the briefness of this week's Five Friday Favorites but with two sick kids and husband in the house it's been hard to find time to get this written.  I've been doing A LOT of Amazon shopping lately so I thought I would share my top five favorite purchases from the last month.  There's a little of this and a little of that...

#1 - Down Puffer Coat
If you follow Christina's Favorite Things on Facebook then you have definitely seen this coat.  SO many people were raving about it that I had to try it and I LOVE IT!  It's SO comfortable and REALLY warm (I wore it when we were having Polar Vortex).  I'm wearing an XS but probably could have gotten away with XXS.  I'm personally a big fan of the green color but there are other colors are available.  This also goes on lightning deal a lot so follow my FB page and Instagram and I'll alert you when it's coming up.

#2 - Mixing Bowls

I know totally random but I've been on the hunt for a set like this.  I LOVE to cook and for as long as I can remember I've been using the same two nesting bowls as my prep bowls (one of which was cracked).  I pulled the trigger on these when they went on lightning deal and so glad I did.  I've used at least one almost every day since I got them.  Highly recommend.

#3 - Flameless LED Candles

I have been looking for thinner flameless pillar candles for years to put in these lanterns I got.  Seriously like 3 or 4 years.  Whatever I ended up finding were super expensive until this Amazon purchase.  It's great because they are remote controlled so I can have them on or off whenever I want.  And there's a timer as well in case I forget to turn them off.  Highly recommend!  I ended up getting two sets to fill out the lanterns.

#4 - I Need a New Butt book
I forget where I saw this book but I had to get it for my kiddos because they love potty humor.  It's the perfect small gift for them for Valentine's Day.  I love when I can find a book that gives my girls a good laugh.

#5 - Heart Dress for Little Mini
How cute is Little Mini in this dress?!?!?!  It's by far her new favorite...wears it once a week.  It's the third dress I've bought for her from them.  She loves all things twirly and so when I can find affordable ones she loves, I stock up.  Definitely recommend!

ROUND ONE OF #NSALE ONLINE PURCHASES

Just in time for the Anniversary Sale to be open to EVERYONE I got my first online order reviews up.  Seperated everything by category to make it easier.

DRESSES
I LOVE gingham and Madewell and this dress is the perfect combo! Love the ruffle hem and sleeves. It's nice and lightweight. Great for work or play. True to size. Get this look - dress and shoes

Love this dress from 1901. It's like a sweatshirt material...SO SOFT! Love the built in shirt detail. Another one you can dress up for work or dress down for the weekend. Definitely a keeper. True to size. Get this look - dress and shoes.

Another fan dress from 1901...1901 Varsity dress. Great shift style, soft cotton and very flattering. Dress it up or down. I'm wearing an XSP but it was kind of short so I might get the XS just to see length difference. Get this look - dress and shoes.

I was hoping this Treasure and Bond dress would work out as a fab holiday dress but it's just EH. I love the pleating detail and the hunter green color is great just overall the fit didn't do much for me. It does fit true to size. Details on this look - dress and shoes

TOPS
This BP balloon sleeve was my least favorite of the sweaters that came in the mail from this package. I accidentally ordered an XXS instead of an XS. They are going for more of a slouchy look and I think one size bigger would have worked. Love both the pinky/red and green colors. Get this full look...and double check to make sure your size is correct - sweater, jeans, and shoes

You know an outfit is a keeper when Hubby says...oh you look good. That's what he said as I was sweaty my you know what off in this look. LOVE this Caslon sweater. Has a big turtleneck which I love, nice long length and I really like the speckle fabric. Highly recommend. True to size, wearing an XS. Comes in a bunch of colors and it's under $50!  Get this look - sweater, jeans, boots

Another Caslon sweater win. Same speckled look...this time I opted for the cream color (with black and navy specs throughout). I like the slouchy look of this one. I forgot to snap a picture of the back with the exposed zipper because well I was about to pass out from heat exhaustion taking the picture. True to size. Lots of colors available and it's under $40! Get this look - sweater, jeans, booties.

Gibson always knocks it out of the part with their blouses and prints and this one doesn't disappoint. Love the high low hemline and flat collar v-neck detail. True to size. This is by far my favorite print. There are others available along with some solid options. Get this look - top, jeans and shoes.

I LOVE this Free People tunic...the print is so pretty and the redish pink just pops. My only issue is that it's a little too big on me so definitely size down if you order. Also comes in two other colors but this one is my favorite. Get this look - tunic, jeans (similar) and booties.

Super cute Halogen bubble sleeve sweater.  VERY versatile...you can dress it down with jeans or dress it up for work with a cute pair of dress pants.  Wear with flats or heels.  True to size.  Takes a basic sweater (like the J.Crew Tippi) and takes it up a notch with the subtle bubble sleeve.  Highly recommend.  The gray was a little sheer for me so I put my go-to Halogen tank under it.  Get this look - sweater, tank. jeans (similar), shoes

SHOES
I'm always looking for fun new flats and these Cole Haan ones peeked my interest. I don't like snakes but I do like a snake print. These have blush tone which I like. They are SUPER comfortable. True to size. Also come in several solid colors. What do you think, should I keep? Get the look - sweater, jeans (similar) and shoes

I'm looking for a different pair of black flats instead of always wearing my Tory Burch minis. I thought these Vince ones would be super cute. Funky but still work appropriate. Nope, they didn't work. As my friend said, they look like witch shoes. I was sooo bummed. Anyone else try them. What did you think. True to size. Other colors available...maybe it's the black that doesn't work.

OUTERWEAR
I've been wanting a short winter jacket. I have two long ones that I love but needed a more sporty, short one so I picked up this Patagonia one and I love it. It's thin but still says will keep you warm (I was sweating taking these pictures). The gray color will go with everything. I went with a small so that when I'm wearing big sweaters it won't be too tight. Really like it. It keeps going in and out of stock so keep checking back. Not the greatest of pics either...needed big Mini to take it and she just couldn't get the angle right.

MINI
Found Big Mini's Thanksgiving dress thanks to this sale. How cute is this Pippa and Julie dress. I'm very tempted to get one for little Mini too so they can match. Outfit works well with her new boots too. Get this look - dress and shoes.

Favorite Recent Amazon Purchases

Here's a round up of some of my favorite recent Amazon purchases.  It runs the gamut from beauty products and kids stuff to pajamas and organization.  Enjoy!!!

I love this toner.  Rose is one of my favorite essential oils in skin care.  This toner is perfect to use after cleansing your skin.  Smells great and is not harsh.  I use it in the evenings after washing my face by putting a few sprays on a cotton pad. They have two sizes available.  I'm going to upgrade to the bigger one for my next order because I love it so much!

You probably remember this from my Saturday Sorting post a couple months ago but I'm loving this acrylic organizer.  The drawers are a variety of sizes and the top has sections for make up brushes, and my everyday products.  Each of the drawers comes with a cushion mat.  It can hold all my makeup, brushes and perfume in one organized space.  There are all different types of these and sizes to fit your space.  And check out the full Saturday Sorting post on how I've organized under my bathroom sink.  Things have changed a bit since I've added the Dyson blow dryer.  I might be adding this to the mix.
I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED with this dry shampoo from Ricky Alessandro!  I've tried so many dry shampoos and I never really loved any till this one.  The ones I've used in the past always left a weird residue in my hair but not this one.  I put some in my hair before bed, throw it up in a bun and then sleep on it.  Wake up and my hair is refreshed and not greasy.  I can go 2-3, sometimes 4 days without actually washing it.  Definitely recommend.
This portable potty has come in VERY handy for the girls.  Whether its road trips, the park or now at the beach.  We always have a potty.  Definitely recommend if you have young kids.  Totally worth it!

I bought this shoe organizer never with the intent of actually using it for shoes but rather organizing all my bathing suits.  Works AMAZINGLY well and is tucked away like hanging clothes.  Highly recommend this organizing hack.  And why I love this one is there are larger pouches on the back for tankinis and one pieces.  Check out the full blog post I did on it.

Here's another item that is at the beach with me this week - Corkcicle Stemless Wine Glass.  I didn't actually purchase this...it was a gift from my sis-in-law but it is available on Amazon and I highly recommend it.  It's currently keeping my beverage nice and cold.  I also have the big Corkcicle to keep the larger stash of my beverage ice cold.

Love, love these sheet masks.  Super hydrating and really gives me skin a glow!  These are packed for this week because when I travel my skin really needs something like this.  These types of sheet masks are so easy with no mess.  I've tried a bunch and so far these are my favorite.

I LOVE pajamas.  Some might say I'm obsessed.  This obsession only started a few years ago as previously I would only wear lounge pants and old t-shirts.  These Mae pajamas are the perfect ones for summer.  Light weight and comfortable.

I use this towel after every time I shower.  Absorbs the water so blow drying time is cut in half.  Works like a charm.  I think I might get a three pack so I have some for big mini because these days she's got more hair than me.

I'm shocked at some of the luck I've been having on Amazon with t-shirts.  I love these Daily Ritual v-neck ones and they come in a pack of 2 for $20!  You can't beat that.  I love these because they aren't too fitted but still give me a shape and the length of the v-neck is perfect!
